If you’re new to the Dollywood experience, or a repeat visitor who returns to pay homage every year, chances are you may not have been to Till and Harvest, one of the newest dining options in the Dollywood universe. Till and Harvest is a no frills eatery featuring quick, counter or table service with prices to match. There’s ample seating outside on a large, open air covered patio, and the laid back outdoor atmosphere perfectly matches the simple, but well executed Mexican fusion described as “Smoky Mountain Mexican.”
Till and Harvest is situated in Wildwood Grove, the latest expansion of Dollywood that just opened during the spring of 2019. Wildwood Grove is a paradise for kids and adults who still get inspired by a little bit of magic, and Till and Harvest fits right in to the homey, loving, butterfly covered fun that Dolly and her team have created in this latest expansion.
On our first trip to explore the cute and creative wonders of Wildwood Grove, we were pleased with the offerings at Till and Harvest, and sampled much of their tidy menu offerings. Our favorites included:
- Mango Lime “agua fresca.”
Purists may argue that Till and Harvest’s agua frescas aren’t the real deal since they come pre-mixed in a fountain bubbler, but we found the various flavors offered to be refreshing and delicious on a warm day, especially the sweet and tangy Mango Lime. - Southern Chicken Bowl.
This was one of a few menu items that can be ordered as a burrito or a bowl, and you can customize your toppings to your liking. A tasty and filling dish, the unexpected treat of black eyed peas really gave it some authentic Southern flair. - Smoky Mountain Nachos.
A generous pile of nachos heaped with smoked pulled pork, pico de gallo, avocado crema, and more, this was an awesome item to share with the table, and would make a satisfying meal on its own!
While the options are fairly limited, Till and Harvest does offer a kids’ menu with basic tacos, burrito, or a cheese quesadilla. The choice to select a bowl, burrito, or salad, or create a unique dish with the meats, veggies, and toppings available makes Till and Harvest a good place for people with dietary restrictions, or those looking for a break from heavy fried food and barbecue.
After our meal, we felt satisfied, but not overstuffed, and even saved a little room to visit the Sweets ‘n’ Treats stand right next to Till and Harvest for an order of indulgent fried churros to round out our meal.
A solid option for fresh, affordable dining inside a charming new section of everyone’s favorite Southern theme park, Till and Harvest is a great stop along your Dollywood itinerary.
Insider Tip:
While many of the menu items at Till and Harvest may be familiar to fans of other “build your own” Mexican eateries, one unique and must try option is cheese grits for the base of your salad, bowl, or burrito. When in Dollywood, you just gotta have some grits, ya’ll!
